Johnson Waste Management

As a community service, Johnson Waste Management Ltd., in cooperation with the Winnipeg Police Service, has developed and instituted our own Alley Watch crime prevention program.

The JWM Alley Watch program takes advantage of the fact that during their early morning rounds our drivers are regularly in alleys throughout the city. As such, they are in a unique position to act as community sentinels should something unusual occur. Equipped with two-way radios and digital cameras, our drivers are able to report to the police any emergency or suspicious and unusual activity they might observe.

Created as a community service, adoption of our Alley Watch program may some day save a life.
